Newly Appointed Board of Governors
The Petroleum Club of WA Welcomes New Board of Governors.
In its 50th year, the Petroleum Club of WA welcomed in its newly elected Board of Governors. During the year there were a few resignations due to relocations and work commitments and many of the Governors' 3 year terms came to an end, including President Rick Nardi. Rick worked tirelessly, in a challenging environment, on the organisation’s strategic development, securing high calibre keynote speakers and the continued growth of the club’s brand. We wish Rick the very best with his next endeavour and thank our outgoing Governors for all of their efforts over the past few years.
The club welcomed 8 new members to the Board of Governors at our recent AGM. At the first meeting of the new board Mark Small was voted in as President. Mark is a returning board member and former President with experience in Senior Management and as a Company Director. His previous board experience with the Petroleum Club of WA will offer great guidance and support to our new Governors. Scott Laurance was voted in as Vice President and Brooke Arnot as Secretary with Mark Cunningham remaining as Treasurer.
As per the Club’s Constitution, upon the resignation of board members prior to the AGM, Kirsty Danby of Platform Communications and Brooke Arnot of AOG were co-opted onto the board to fill a void and provide support in their key areas of expertise. The board is pleased that their elevation was ratified at the AGM. Mark and the existing board members welcome Kirsty, Brooke and all of our new Governors and look forward to building on the Club’s success into the future.
