The Petroleum Club of Western Australia INC provides
an ideal environment for those working in the oil and gas industry who
wish to mix and meet with their colleagues.
The membership, of around 500, comprises professionals from all aspects
of the industry - from explorationalists to environmentalists, from
engineers to recruitment specialists, all with the common aim of
sustainable development of Australia's petroleum resources.
The Club meets on the second Tuesday of each month at the Parmelia
Hilton Hotel where quality guest speakers address the membership over
dinner.
The social calendar includes the annual Golf Tournament and dinner
(held prior to Easter); the Christmas Dinner Dance during the festive
season.
Operating in government and non-government secondary schools since
1991, the Schools Information Program (SIP), helps to foster greater awareness and
better understanding by the community of the oil and gas industry.
